A better world through better workplaces
Quinton Ron Quartel is a complexity wrangler, bureaucracy buster, and business detoxifier.Â
A transformation partner and consultant who works with progressive organisations, start-ups, and scaleups interested in transforming their work into better ways of working primed for innovation and disruption. Not only do these methods mean more successful organisations, but they result in more successful human beings working for those organisations. The synchronicity between these two creates a win for the organization's bottom line and the employees - and after that, getting to the next steps of the communities that the organisations touch and work in, with the same knock-on broader effects to our countries and the planet as a whole.
Quinton will tell you his life's mission is to "make a better world through better workplaces."
Quinton has been in software since he was a teenager and began writing code. He has worked in the software and tech industry all his adult life. His roles have flowed between developer, manager, consultant, trainer, agile coach, agile technical coach, pre-sales technician, and technical product manager. He speaks regularly at conferences, meetups, and webinars and is an international keynote speaker. He has lived in three countries on three different continents and currently lives in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Quinton is most widely known for creating Fluid Adaptive Scaling Technology (FAST), or FAST Agile as it was called in the early days - a shockingly simple yet highly effective way of self-organising people around work - that scales. This is rapidly gaining more and more attention from companies looking to get past "dark agile" or previous transformations that did not deliver the value they had hoped, and more recently, companies moving from "feature factory" to being product-led and customer-focused.
